Updated system requirements: ProCall 8 Enterprise and Microsoft SQL Server 2022
PROCALL ENTERPRISE PCE8 DATABASES SQL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
ProCall 8 Enterprise in version 8.21 has now been tested for Microsoft SQL Server 2022.

MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise is now available – with online licensing
METADIRECTORY SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS MD6 RELEASE
On 1/8/2023, the product release for a new major release of MetaDirectory Enterprise took place. The new version MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise is now also with online licensing (license management via UCConnect), as it is already common with ProCall 8 Enterprise.
Licenses for ProCall 8 Enterprise and MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise can now be managed together with software maintenance agreements (SMA) in UCConnect.
Please note that due to the new licensing procedure, a permanent connection between MetaDirectory and UCConnect must be ensured. MetaDirectory 5 licenses cannot be imported into the new version.

Our apps for Microsoft Teams - Third-party apps do not yet work in Preview versions
PROCALL METADIRECTORY ENTERPRISE MICROSOFT TEAMS APPS
Microsoft has informed, that third-party apps do not yet work in Microsoft Teams preview versions.
We have therefore updated the requirements/restrictions for both our apps ProCall App for Microsoft Teams and MetaDirectory App for Microsoft Teams accordingly:

CLIP No Screening – what is it and how do I set it up for the cloud PBX ProCall Voice Services?

With ProCall 8 Enterprise SR2, the CLIP No Screening feature is also available for ProCall Voice Services.

PROCALL ENTERPRISE NOTIFICATIONS USER GUIDE CONFIGURATION NOTIFICATIONS
Since ProCall Enterprise version 8.2, the notification for new chat messages can now also be set in the Windows Control Panel.
We have compiled an overview of the setting options available on the user side in ProCall for new messages (notifications) and how you can use the Windows Control Panel, the ProCall main window or the ProCall mobile app to be informed about new chats, for example. This overview also describes how messages are displayed with or without preview:
Replication with MetaDirectory - problems with character encoding in ODBC text replication
METADIRECTORY ENTERPRISE REPLICATION CHARACTERS UMLAUTS CONFIGURATION CHARACTER FORMAT
If the ODBC replicator with the Microsoft Access text driver is used instead of the text replicator, there may be a problem with the character encoding. For example, umlauts are displayed incorrectly in the replicated dataset.
This might indicate that the text file to be replicated is not in the ANSI or OEM formats supported by the driver by default, but in UNICODE (UTF-16) or UTF-8, for example.
Here the MetaDirectory text replicator is better positioned:
