Pilot phase starts: Technical support at estos with new access to product support

Update Server: Roll out automatic updates to ProCall clients

PROCALL ENTERPRISE  UCSERVER  MAINTENANCE  TROUBLESHOOTING UPDATE 

In ProCall Enterprise versions 7.3.3.5345 to 7.3.4.5457 (inclusive), the update server can no longer connect to the server. This means that the ProCall client for Windows can no longer be installed or upgraded from version 6 via the update service at the ProCall Windows workstation. Only new installations of the update service at the client with these versions and upgrades from ProCall 6 Enterprise to these versions are affected.

The problem has since been fixed in the current versions. More information about affected versions and the recommended course of action can be found here:


estos UC media server service terminates unexpectedly

PROCALL ENTERPRISE GDPR CONFIGURATION ADMINISTRATION DATA PROTECTION 

The estos UC media server cannot be started up on specific system platforms in a stable manner. This service is terminated again a short time after the startup process.

This problem occurs on systems which do not provide SSE processing unit on the processor side (CPU). However, this is one of the system requirements for the UC Media Server service: CPU with SSE support.


Remote Office to Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE)

PROCALL ENTERPRISE ECSTA REMOTE OFFICE PBX TELEPHONE SYSTEM INTEROPERABILITY

In connection with an Alcatel-Lucent OXE (OmniPCX Enterprise) telephone system, we have received reports that when Remote Office is activated, the Remote Office number is called during outgoing calls, but nothing happens. Calls to the Remote Office number and to the external number that should be called are not connected together.

The configuration of one or more so-called MultiLine keys could be a possible cause. If several MultiLine keys are configured, no consultation, transfer or conference can be established.
