HD Voice/HD telephony: Excellent voice quality for ProCall Enterprise softphone
PROCALL ENTERPRISE SOFTPHONE CODEC CALL QUALITY AUDIO TELEPHONE SYSTEMS G.722 OPUS
As of Service Release 5 (Version 7.5), ProCall 7 Enterprise supports the two HD Voice Codecs Opus and G.722 for SIP softphone functionality in the direction of the telephone system or end devices on a telephone system.
HD Voice or HD telephony means telephoning in excellent voice quality.
Note that for HD Voice, the entire chain of participating components (terminals, PBX, trunk, etc.) must support the codec G.722 (or Opus as well).
For the release of ProCall 7 Enterprise 7.5, HD Voice has already been fully tested and released on the following PBXs:
- Mitel MiVoice Office 400
- Unify OpenScape Business
You can also activate the HD Voice functionality on other telephone systems. Please note, however, that we have only performed basic tests and not a complete test. Further telephone systems will be specifically released by us for HD Voice in the future.

ECSTA for SIP Phones in connection with STARFACE released
ECSTA ECSTA FOR SIP PHONES STARFACE INTEROPERABILITY RELEASE PBX END DEVICES DEVICES TELEPHONE SYSTEM
We have tested ProCall Enterprise and SIP based hardware phones in conjunction with STARFACE: We have tested the ECSTA for SIP phones extensively with the cloud-based and on-premises PBXs and are releasing it now.

estos ProCall DataCenter is based in principle on the current estos ProCall Enterprise version and is also suitable for use in a multi-server environment in which several UCServers work together and can be administered.
In particular, large environments and environments with increased redundancy and administration requirements are supported.
ProCall DataCenter is particularly suitable for use in large companies with more than 2,500 workstations.

Call number resolution in Microsoft Teams can be realized via LDAP connection of estos MetaDirectory to TE-Systems anynode.
How the interaction between Session Border Controller and estos MetaDirectory for call number resolution and name display in Microsoft Teams basically works and how field mapping, connection to the LDAP server and call routing are configured in MetaDirectory and SBC was demonstrated by three experts from TE-Systems, Telefonbau Schneider and estos in another hands-on technical webinar.

UC Media Server newly configured – why should I update to ProCall 7.4.2?
PROCALL ENTERPRISE MEDIA SERVER CONFIGURATION TROUBLESHOOTING MAINTENANCE
Since estos ProCall Enterprise version 7.4.2.5993, the operating mode has been fundamentally reconfigured in order to eliminate the problem described "audio gaps with increasing call duration", even without separate configuration measures.
With estos ProCall Enterprise 7.4.2 or higher, the operation mode has been provided with new default values, which set the mode 0 (none – only use RTP timestamps) and the audiolatency parameter to the value 50.
To solve the problem described in detail, update the estos ProCall Enterprise installation to at least version 7.4.2.
This means that no further specific configuration measures are required.

Call partner of a team member is not displayed in Monitor/Favorites despite authorization – workaround
PROCALL ENTERPRISE CALLER ID PERMISSIONS MONITOR FAVORITES
If you observe that the phone number of a colleague's call partner is not displayed in the favorites or in the monitor in ProCall Enterprise and only the display "in conversation" appears, although "See outgoing and incoming phone numbers" is activated for user-to-user permissions, you should check whether the affected line in the UCServer is otherwise assigned to the user as Business (primary line) or Business 2 (secondary line).
Password entered incorrectly? What happens after several incorrect login attempts to ProCall?
PROCALL ENTERPRISE AUTHENTIFICATION DOMAIN REGISTRATION DOMAIN AUTHENTIFICATION LOGIN ATTEMPTS ADMINISTRATION
In our new article we show what happens in ProCall in case of incorrect login attempts and multiple entries of an incorrect password and when a user account is locked and may have to be reactivated by the administrator.
The behavior depends on the type of login: in UCServer user management/authentication with UC password, Windows domain authentication, user management with Active Directory server.
Where can I find the log files for ProCall client for macOS?
PROCALL ENTERPRISE PROCALL CLIENT ERROR ANALYSIS TROUBLESHOOTING MACOS DEBUG LOGS
The estos ProCall Enterprise client for macOS logs essential operations and events that you can make available for analysis when problems or observations arise.
In contrast to the ProCall Enterprise client for Windows, this logging is carried out on the macOS client without any special configuration measures.
Logging takes place in the appropriately access-protected user folder of the ProCall Enterprise client user ~/Library/Logs/ProCall Mac.
The log files are stored in this directory using the naming scheme "ProCall Mac.YYYY-MM-DDTHH/MM/SS/MSZ.log".
How to proceed on an Apple computer to access the log files via the shortcut Shift-Command-G or in the Finder menu under Go - Go to Folder... shows our new article:
