ProCall app for iOS now with support for Apple CarPlay and Siri voice control

PROCALL ENTERPRISE MOBILE APP SMARTPHONE VOICE CONTROL APPLE IOS  SIRI CARPLAY

Since ProCall 8 Enterprise version 8.3.4, a link between Apple CarPlay, iPhone and ProCall app for iOS is now possible for the ProCall mobile app.

With Apple CarPlay support, the ProCall app for iOS is able to display calls directly on the vehicle display. Using touch or Siri voice control, it is also possible to use ProCall while driving, for example to initiate calls. For business customers, the combination of Apple CarPlay, iPhones and ProCall mobile app offers added value when using company cars/company cars.

ProCall mobile app for iOS 8.3.22 from UCServer version 8.3.4 is required for use.


ChatGPT integration – news

PROCALL ENTERPRISE AI CHATGPT BOT NEWS   

ChatGPT integration has been revised for ProCall 8 Enterprise version 8.3.4. In addition to bug fixes, the libraries used have been updated to the current versions of Azure OpenAI and OpenAI. The API key is displayed as a password field so that the key is not visible. Users can now reset the context themselves using the "/clear" command.

DALL-E 3 is now available for Azure OpenAI Service. DALL-E 2 can no longer be used.

ProCall client for Windows with new DLL for Yealink SDK update

PROCALL ENTERPRISE YEALINK  SDK DEVICES HEADSETS DLL    

In version 8.3.3 an update of the Yealink SDK for ProCall client for Windows was made.

The headset manufacturer Yealink has provided a new HID-SDK DLL (version 3.1.1.17) to solve known problems with virus scanners and button events. The new DLL has been tested with the following Yealink headset types:

  • USB headset UH36
  • BH72 Lite in conjunction with the BT51 Bluetooth dongle
  • BH76 in conjunction with the BT51 Bluetooth dongle

The DLL supports other headset types from the manufacturer.
Note: the DLL is only loaded if Yealink headsets are used.


ProCall mobility services: new list of services avilable

PROCALL ENTERPRISE PROCALL MOBILITY SERVICES LIST OF SERVICES STUN TURN   

estos operates a STUN/TURN service for its products in the OVH cloud in Europe on the basis of coturn.

Other services provided via ProCall mobility services are proprietary and specific to estos products, such as ensuring push messages for smartphone apps or the VPN-less operation supported from ProCall 8 Enterprise as a proxy between the ProCall clients and the ProCall Enterprise UCServer.

For ProCall Mobility Services, you will now find a new list of services in the estos support portal with information on STUN/TURN and about the network topology

MetaDirectory Enterprise as STARFACE address book

METADIRECTORY ENTERPRISE   CONFIGURATION   STARFACE  ADDRESS BOOK PBX DATA SOURCE

The estos MetaDirectory can make the entire replicated database available via the LDAP interface.

To integrate estos MetaDirectory as a STARFACE address book, an LDAP connection to estos MetaDirectory is set up in the STARFACE telephone system administration.
