ProCall 8 Enterprise specifications and ProCall version comparison

PROCALL ENTERPRISE OVERVIEW SPECIFICATIONS VERSION COMPARISON PCE8 

A lot has changed with the new releases of ProCall 8 Enterprise, including the following functions in ProCall Enterprise since version 8.3:

  • Softphone pickup via UCServer
  • ChatGPT integration in TextChat
  • Softphone connection STARFACE White Label
  • ProCall App for Microsoft Teams
  • Improvements to the ProCall mobile app for iOS
  • Improvements to the contact data editor
  • Improved overview in the UCServer status monitor

Softphone connection to STARFACE White Label PBX - current overview of supported PPX

PROCALL ENTERPRISE STARFACE WHITE LABEL PBX 

ProCall Enterprise now also supports softphone functionality for the STARFACE White Label PBX.

In the list of supported telephone systems, you will now also find the STARFACE White Label and the corresponding connection instructions and supported telephony functions:


LDAP directory as data source in the ProCall Enterprise client

PROCALL ENTERPRISE LDAP DIRECTORY NAME RESOLUTION SEARCH 

ProCall Enterprise offers the option of setting up the ProCall Enterprise client as an LDAP client in order to integrate an LDAP directory:

  • for name resolution for incoming calls
  • in the search

When setting up the connection of an LDAP directory, the details of the LDAP server to be connected must be entered in the Directory service (LDAP) dialog:

ProCall Client crashes during phone calls and other actions - Check Microsoft Edge WebView Runtime version

If you notice that the ProCall client crashes during phone calls  or other actions with the ProCall communication window, this may be due to an installed Microsoft Edge WebView Runtime version 120.0.2210.61.
In our new article, we have put together how you can check the installed version in the "Expert view" and update to a newer version manually if necessary:
