SIP phones cannot register at estos uaCSTA server for SIP phones – check network path and port assignment

If SIP phones do not register with the uaCSTA Server for SIP phones, possible causes are an unavailable network path or a conflict in port assignment.

In our new article, we explain the possible causes and how to proceed if, for example, another application is already occupying the registrar port on the uaCSTA server computer.

Web technologies – client debug log is not enough – what info does the browser need to provide and how do I get this information?

Since the chat app in the ProCall client main window is based on web technologies, not all operations are logged in ProCall client debug logs (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\estos\ProCall 8\logs). For certain observations, such as "There is no connection to the server...", outputs from the web development tools (DevTools) integrated in the browser used are therefore also necessary, which must also be provided for error analysis.

MetaDirectory call number resolution does not always work – what could be the reason?

METADIRECTORY ENTERPRISE ADMINISTRATION CALL NUMBER RESOLUTION TROUBLESHOOTING REPLICATION DATA SOURCES SEARCH RESULTS

On an incoming call, a contact is not found, but it is present in the original data source. Partially, however, the contact is displayed as ~Company.

A possible reason could be that the phone number was assigned to a number field during replication, which is not taken into account during the search. Or not all records of the source were replicated due to primary key violations.

Reminder for 31/5/2023: Goodwill provision for mobile apps expires!

PROCALL ENTERPRISE PCE6 END OF LIFE MOBILE APP    

Please note: End of May is when ProCall mobile apps will no longer run with PCE6.
ProCall 6 Enterprise
has reached end of life at the end of 2022. This also affects the ProCall mobile apps running with PCE6. Our goodwill provision for the ProCall Mobile Apps on ProCall 6 Enterprise will continue until 31 May 2023.
After that
, you will no longer be able to use the ProCall mobile apps with a ProCall 6 Enterprise server.
Please upgrade to a ProCall version that is still in its life cycle as soon as possible.
