ProCall Voice Services in the field test – the new cloud PBX from estos

The field trial for ProCall Voice Services has started and is exclusively available for estos partners. estos partners can register for the field trial via my.estos.de.
ProCall Voice Services are an add-on to ProCall Enterprise. Requirement: ProCall 7 Enterprise version 7.6.2, ProCall 8 Enterprise version 8.0.3

How to disable insecure encryption protocols: Notes on TLS 1.0/1.1
PROCALL ENTERPRISE SECURITY ENCRYPTION CONFIGURATION FUNCTIONS
To prevent the use of protocols that are now considered insecure, the Windows configuration must be made according to the Microsoft documentation.
Since estos products are based on the Microsoft platform, they are "affected" by the settings made there and can therefore only use the approved encryption methods.
We have put together some information for you in our new article on how to disable older encryption protocols to make sure that the latest protocol version is used and how to prevent connections with insecure protocols for ProCall Enterprise on the server and on the client.
Please note that changing the configuration may lead to compatibility problems with other software if it does not support the latest TLS protocol version..

The middleware products of the ECSTA series enable communication between the telephone system and the IT infrastructure. This allows telephone systems and connected telephones to be easily controlled from the PC.

Microsoft support ended for Windows 8.1 – updated system requirements
PROCALL ENTERPRISE METADIRECTORY ENTERPRISE ECSTA PROCALL MEETINGS THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIER INTEROPERABILITY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS MICROSOFT WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS LIFECYCLE
The Windows 8.1 operating system follows the fixed lifecycle policy on the part of Microsoft. Support was discontinued on 10 January 2023.
Quote: "We would like to inform you that support for Windows 8.1 will be discontinued on 10 January 2023.
After that date, this product will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or updates to online technical content."

ProCall mobile app reports server "not trusted"? Check problems with SSL certificate
