ProCall Enterprise (Core) 8.0.2.7100

WINDOWS

New functions
  • Via the UCConnect portal it is now possible to add the following licenses as ProCall addon licenses and use them with your ProCall 8 Enterprise installation:

    • ProCall Analytics 3

    • LiveChat 2

    • ProCall Enterprise 8 UMReplikator (UMR)

For example, if you have already purchased Analytics 3 licenses, you can now add them to your UCConnect server account to enable the feature on the UCServer.
For ProCall Analytics 3 and LiveChat 2, licenses already purchased can still be used. There are new licenses for the UMReplikator.
If the licenses have been entered in the UCConnect portal, they only work with a connected UCServer version 8.0.2 or higher.

Improvements
  • Softphone calls have not always used the audio codec with the best voice quality. For incoming softphone calls, the media server answered with all commonly available audio codecs. If the caller's list contained first a narrowband codec (e.g. PCMA) and then an HD codec (e.g. G.722), the narrowband codec was used although an HD codec would have been possible. In the future, therefore, only one (single) codec will be used, which brings the best HD quality from the configured list.

  • Mouse wheel scrolling in the ProCall client for Windows monitor has been improved. A problem with skipping a line in the monitor while scrolling has been fixed.
  • At the request of a provider, the media server will set the optional "Rtpmap" for static payload types in the SDP in the future. According to RFC3264, this specification is optional, but possibly this led to the fact that no HD telephony with G.722 was negotiated at this provider.
  • At the provider Teleforte, after activating a provider-side SIP option, a SIP register error occurred after about 6 hours of operation. This was an option in SIP authentication (qop="auth") that required an adjustment in the nonce count (e.g. "nc=0000001" after each 401/407 challenge).
  • When providing log files to the UCServer, an additional log is created, which facilitates the analysis of license problems.
  • The versions of the new web applications within the ProCall client for Windows are now visible in the system information ("Info about").
  • The ProCall 8 Enterprise UCServer installer now allows downgrading to an older version again.
Bug fixes
  • Fixed several crashes of the UCServer.
  • If a line was configured for a user under "Other lines of the user" (1st phone, 2nd phone), another line symbol (e.g. VideoChat) was marked with an exclamation mark in the favorites on the Windows client and signaled as disturbed. This problem has been fixed.
  • Fixed a problem on UCServer that with "Windows authentication" and local file-based user management in UCServer, users could not log in if the users were created in the user management without a domain identifier (or even other differences in the user name), but log in to their workstation with one.
  • In a customer environment, a sporadic crash of the server was observed, which could occur after a longer period of operation. The crash at this point was fixed and a corresponding debug output was generated.
  • A crash of the UCServer when blindly forwarding phone calls (Tapi) was fixed.

  • In the MAPI connection of the ProCall client for Windows, a display problem in the folder selection was fixed: in some scenarios folders were displayed twice.
  • Fixed a rare crash (restart) of the Media Server. The following message was displayed in the media server logs:  "MediaServer;libnice:ERROR:conncheck.c:3249:priv_schedule_triggered_check: assertion failed (p->state == NICE_CHECK_DISCOVERED): (2 == 6)"
  • Fixed a media server problem with one-sided audio on the softphone when both participants negotiated the HD codec OPUS using different payload types.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the server to freeze in rare cases.

  • When connecting to an internal Innovaphone SIP trunk, a suppressed caller ID was incorrectly displayed as "+49".
  • Fixed a spelling error in the ProCall client for Windows tooltip for the "Create e-mail" function.
  • Fixed a problem with Outlook connection via MAPI on ProCall client for Windows when the computer was reactivated from sleep mode.
  • Fixed a UCServer crash when the UMReplikator (UMR) wrote objects to the UCServer user management.
