Restrict user administration via LDAP filter - from ProCall Enterprise 8.4.2

PROCALL DATACENTER PROCALL ENTERPRISE ADMINISTRATION CONFIGURATION USER ADMINISTRATION USER GROUP COMPUTER

From ProCall Enterprise 8.4.2  BaseDN to restrict, this can now also be done by specifying an LDAP filter .

Both options can be used in combination;

The chat tab is missing in the ProCall client - WebView2 not installed or chat deactivated in UCServer? 

PROCALL ENTERPRISE ADMINISTRATION CONFIGURATION CHAT COMMUNICATION MAIN WINDOW WEBVIEW2 TROUBLESHOOTING

In order to use the chat in the ProCall Client for Windows, two prerequisites must be met in any case:

  • WebView2 Runtime installed
  • Chat must not be deactivated in the UCServer

If you notice that the chat tab is missing in ProCall, you should check this and activate/install it if necessary;

Softphone: Audio/video devices are not available - Possible causes and procedure

PROCALL ENTERPRISE   ADMINISTRATION   AUDIO/VIDEO DEVICES HEADSETS TROUBLESHOOTING

If im ProCall Client for Windows with Softphone Integration (local installation)

  • the Audio/Video Wizard is grayed out or not available
  • a caller receives the message "The other party is busy" and
  • no calls can be started,

this may have the following causes : 

  • The option "Do not use devices" is activated in the ProCall Client.
  • In the UCServer, the Softphone Audio Chat or softphone audio/video chat is deactivated.
  • There are  no  audio or video devices installed on the computer  or they are disabled in the operating system.

May 31, 2024 End-of-maintenance: Mobile apps for ProCall 7 Enterprise - update in time before end-of-life!

PROCALL ENTERPRISE MOBILE APPS PRODUCT LIFECYCLE END-OF-LIFE UPDATE REQUIRED IOS ANDROID 

ProCall 7 Enterprise will reach end-of-maintenance (EoM)  status on 31 May 2024 and on 31 December 2024 . December 2024 the status End-of-Life (EoL). 

This has a strong impact on the ProCall Mobility Services, which, among other things, make it easier for you to set up the ProCall Mobile Apps:
These services only work with a version of ProCall Enterprise that is supported, i.e. has not yet reached the end of the product life cycle.
For more information on current ProCall Enterprise versions, please refer to our overview of the product-life-cycle.

We are already informing you today that by May 31, 2025 the ProCall apps for iOS and Android will no longer be able to be used with ProCall 7 Enterprise
