When performing the update, please follow the instructions for the update within a product version.

Update notes

  • If you are updating from a ProCall DataCenter version <= 2303.x, please note the update instructions for version 2306.0.
  • When updating from versions <=2210.5 to a version >= 2403.0, you must update to one of the two versions 2306.0 or 2310.0 as an intermediate step so that the contents of the configuration database are migrated correctly with regard to line management.
  • When updating from versions <=2403.x to a version >= 2406.0, all servers of the multi-server network must be terminated and the configuration database must be updated using an individually provided script before the UCServer updates can be continued.

ProCall DataCenter 2406.0 (Build xxxx)

WINDOWS

New functions

  • Cross-server line administration
    • The line administration in the UCServer administration has been moved to the "global" tree structure.
    • In the UCServer administration, you can see on which management server a line is configured and actually used.
    • The management server of a line can now be changed across servers if the line to be changed is deactivated or lines are moved from the UCServer currently connected to the UCServer administration to another UCServer.
    • Changed line configurations are recognized and applied across servers. In particular, a line can be activated/deactivated across servers.
    • The cross-server line management supports the TAPI feature "Automatically put line into operation".
    • Information on line statuses is now available across all servers.
    • Set call detour are synchronized across servers.
    • Remote Office settings of the lines are now synchronized across servers and taken into account for the corresponding line.
  • Logging on to the multi-server database (=configuration database) now also supports logging on to the SQL database using Windows Authentication.
For more information, see ProCall DataCenter installation, configuration and settings.

Improvements

  • The "UserAdmin" role has been expanded to include the right to open the ECSTA via the "Configure driver..." line group.
  • The configuration database now contains a versioning function that can be used to signal incompatible changes to the database.
  • Old entries in the configuration database that are no longer required are now removed cyclically.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused configuration changes by the triggering server to be unnecessarily signaled and applied to itself again.
  • Fixed a bug that caused line configurations in the UCServer administration interface to not be updated correctly. The error only occurred if several admins were logged on to the same server at the same time in multi-admin environments.

Behavioral changes

  • For reasons of clarity (especially with many lines), line groups will be displayed as a collapsed group element by default in future. This does not affect the filtering of phone numbers. Filtered results are displayed in expanded form.
  • The "Google integration" feature is no longer supported under ProCall DataCenter.
  • The "Call recording" feature is no longer supported under ProCall DataCenter.
  • The "Federation" feature is no longer supported under ProCall DataCenter.
