IN PRACTICE
Dialing from Microsoft Outlook 2016 contacts via ProCall Enterprise
PROCALL ENTERPRISE MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2016 DIAL CONTACTS BUSINESS CARD
Pressing the handset icon in the business card of a contact especially in Microsoft Outlook 2016 may not trigger dialing to one of the stored phone numbers by ProCall. Here you will find a tip on what to consider for successful dialing.
IN PRACTICE
Group permissions and superordinate role Group leader
PROCALL ENTERPRISE CONFIGURATION PERMISSIONS RIGHTS ALLOCATION
With ProCall Enterprise, you have the option of specifying a group leader and deputy when assigning authorizations via groups in the UCServer administration. Group leaders and deputies have special rights and do not necessarily have to be members of a group. Our example shows the configuration procedure on the UCServer when you define the role of a group leader. In this example, the group leader should be allowed to see who the group members are calling. Group members, on the other hand, should not be able to see who the group leader is talking to on the phone.
IN PRACTICE
Firewall configuration – positive list for use of online services with UCConnect and ProCall Meetings
UCCONNECT PROCALL MEETINGS FIREWALL CONFIGURATION ONLINE SERVICES PORTS IP ADDRESSES
We have listed hostnames and IP addresses of online services used by estos services such as UCConnect or ProCall Meetings.
This list can be used when special firewall settings with a positive list are needed so that UCServer or other clients can reach services on the internet.
Please be sure to note that IP addresses and DNS entries can change continuously. It is therefore recommended to work with wildcards when creating a positive list.
