Update recommended! Security advisory for open-source Node.js in UCWeb – Affected versions and versions where the issue has been resolved 

A security-critical bug  has been identified concerning the open source component node.js in UCWeb,

The vulnerability  affects all previously released versions of ProCall 8 Enterprise as well as ProCall Infinity (DataCentre).

estos has already released updates to address the vulnerability. Customers and partners can obtain these via the usual channels and follow the standard update process. For ProCall 8 Enterprise, hotfix release 8.10.2 has been available since 26 June 2026. For ProCall Infinity, version 2603.1 was released on 30 June 2026.

ProCall 8 Feature Update 8.10 – Group functions, monitoring login attempts, new features for Remote Desktop mode

Since the last feature update, the group functions in ProCall have been improved, for example through automated actions for  logging on to and off from agent groups , as well as additional information on a user’s membership and login status within the respective group in the Favourites. 

The estos UCServer now offers the option to monitor login attempts via the local interface (ProCall Desktop for Windows) and via the web interface (mobile app and ProCall Web).  After a configurable number of failed login attempts, users are blocked in the UCServer either for a specific period or permanently.

The Remote Desktop mode in ProCall Desktop for Windows has been enhanced and now supports automatic switching to remote control mode. This is particularly beneficial for hybrid workplaces and home office scenarios.

In addition, several technical improvements and minor optimisations  have been implemented, including more robust communication with the licence server and new security options for failed login attempts.

MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise version 6.5: Publishing MetaDirectory to Entra via a Microsoft application proxy 

From version 8.5 onwards, the estos MetaDirectory can be published via a Microsoft application proxy in Entra . This means that the MetaDirectory is also accessible from outside the local network for the following scenarios:

  • via the browser in the MetaDirectory web UI
  • via the MetaDirectory app for Microsoft Teams for Windows/macOS and for Android/iOS on the Microsoft Teams smartphone app

MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise version 6.4: New replicator for HCL Domino via the REST API

In MetaDirectory 6 Enterprise Version 6.4, the new Replicator for HCL Domino was released via REST API. With the "Replicator for HCL Domino" , estos MetaDirectory can replicate contact data directly from the databases of the HCL Domino server. 

To connect estos MetaDirectory to an HCL Domino system, the Domino REST API must be installed and configured on the HCL Domino server. 

Supported versions: 

  • HCL Domino 12.0.2 with Domino REST API version 1.1.7
  • HCL Domino 14.x.x with Domino REST API version 1.1.6 or later
