Welcome to the ECSTA 7 Series
The ECSTA series as middleware enables communication between your telephone system and the Microsoft Windows world. The conversion of the system protocol CSTA into the Microsoft TAPI standard creates numerous added values for improved communication.
ECSTA 7 in conjunction with ProCall Enterprise only works with ProCall 8 Enterprise. Older ProCall Enterprise versions are not supported by ECSTA 7.
ProCall 8 Enterprise: now two ECSTA line licenses per ProCall user instead of one line license free of charge
With ECSTA 7, two ECSTA line licenses per ProCall user are always activated free of charge for ProCall 8 Enterprise. A separate ECSTA 7 license is no longer required for ProCall 8 Enterprise. If additional ECSTA line licenses are required, this can be implemented via additional ProCall 8 Enterprise user licenses.

ECSTA 7 is no longer licensed locally in ECSTA. ECSTA 7 is also licensed via ProCall 8 Enterprise. This means that ECSTA no longer needs to be purchased separately.
ECSTA 7 (Standalone without ProCall Enterprise)
- Standardized pricing model for all ECSTA
- From ECSTA 7, there is only one article / one price for the ECSTA, regardless of the telecommunications system
- The software maintenance contract for at least 12 months with automatic renewal is mandatory. (The software maintenance contract is also available for 36 and 60 months).
With ECSTA 7, the following ECSTAs are no longer available:
- ECSTA for Cisco CME
- ECSTA for Siemens HiPath 3000
- ECSTA for Mitel 100 / OpenCom 100
- ECSTA for Avaya CS 1000
- ECSTA for Panasonic
- There is no longer support for 32-bit operating systems for ECSTA 7. It can only be installed on 64-bit operating systems.
- It is not possible to downgrade from ECSTA 7 to ECSTA 6

Upgrade
To upgrade an existing ECSTA installation, it is essential that you follow the notes on the upgrade process.
