The following issues and limitations are known at estos at the time of product release for ECSTA 6.0. We are currently working on a solution.

ECSTA For AVAYA IP OFFICE

There are currently known limitations for the ECSTA Avaya IP Office. These are due to a behavior of the CSTA interface on the Avaya IP Office side.

  • Forwarding without consultation (Blind Transfer), before or after call acceptance.
    Destination party C is notified that party A is calling.
    Destination party C is not notified that the call was forwarded from party B.
  • Forward with consultation
    While the phone is ringing, party C is notified that party B is calling.
    After connecting, party C is notified that he is connected to party A. No information that the call was forwarded.
  • Call forwarding
    For the call forwarding destination C, it is shown that party A is calling.
    No information that the call was transferred because of call forwarding.
  • Conference
    For all parties "connected to <conference room number>" is displayed.
    If the first caller is an external caller, no party can be added to the conference (unless internal).
  • Pickup
    For the destination party, party A is displayed. No information about "forward from".
    There is no information in the journal about "Forwarded from" or "Forwarded to".
