This article provides information on what you should consider when using the ECSTA middleware for OpenScape Business in conjunction with MULAP.

Precondition: Plant-side MULAP monitoring

  • Plant-side MULAP monitoring mandatory.

    • MULAP group participants cannot be monitored.
    • Only the MULAP group call number is ever monitored.

Controlling slave devices

  • The "Map MULAP group subscribers" option allows controlling the slave devices for outgoing dialing.

Softphone lines and MULAP

It is not recommended to include extensions of a ProCall softphone line in a MULAP group.

  • MULAP group participants cannot be monitored.
  • Only the MULAP group call number is ever monitored.
