What is new?

Highlight – New layout for the Calls tab

The Calls tab has been redesigned to improve usability, clarity and efficiency in day-to-day call handling.

New features

  • A clearer structure and visual hierarchy
  • Improved accessibility (keyboard navigation, support for screen readers)
  • More intuitive interaction patterns for managing calls
  • Better alignment with overall UI/UX consistency

Improvements

  • Calls
    • A new feature has been added that allows you to switch from the compact call window (audio call) to the expanded view (MaxiView) with a single click.
  • Chat

    • The search function in the chat has been improved so that it now searches the entire chat history  → Messages can be found immediately, even if they haven’t yet been loaded into the user interface.

    • An issue has been resolved where the file preview was not displayed correctly for certain file sizes .
  • Settings
    • User settings in the sections Settings > Notifications and  Settings > Calls  are now saved and will be retained when you log in again.
    • The most recently used audio device is now automatically preselected from the list of connected devices.

Bug fixes

  • Presence status
    • Fixed an issue where the presence status was not updated reliably  (multi-server environments) → The status is now displayed correctly in real time.
  • Calls
    • Fixed an issue where call windows were not displayed correctly for incoming calls with a withheld number  → Call windows are now displayed consistently.

Coming Up

With the new Contacts tab you can manage your most important contacts and contact groups in one place. Create groups and organize contacts easily using drag and drop. Recent contacts and quick search help you find and add contacts faster. All changes stay synchronized with your contacts and favorites across other ProCall clients.

As ProCall Web is under continuous development, unannounced changes are possible.
Ongoing softphone calls or audio/video chats may be interrupted if you update the app during a call.
Even when closing or reloading the browser tab in which ProCall Web is displayedongoing calls are terminated.


Please note that the appearance and the options for use/setup may vary depending on the browser variant used.
