What is new?

Highlights

We made ProCall Web highly accessible:

  • Full keyboard accessibility of the application
  • Logical and intuitive focus and navigation sequences
  • Screen reader compatibility (e.g., NVDA)
  • Audible feedback for state changes and interactions
  • Support for individual browser and system settings (zoom, high contrast, font sizes, etc.)
  • Documentation on keyboard navigation and the use of assistive technologies
  • Accessibility statement, including feedback and escalation mechanisms

Improvements

  • Improved reconnection behavior in multi-server environments for a more stable experience after temporary disconnects.
  • Selected lines now remain correctly selected after an automatic reconnecting, reload and re-login.
  • Restricted dial pad input to valid numbers and supported special characters only.
  • Simplified and improved tooltips in both English and German for better clarity.
  • Improved the image preview/file preview area.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved an issue where search results could incorrectly switch to an “empty contact” state.
  • Fixed incorrect call states and missing ring tones when initiating calls through keyboard navigation via the dial pad in the Calls section.
  • Fixed an issue where group chat participants were not displayed correctly in the contact widget.
  • Fixed an issue where group image uploads could fail after aborting an image upload in a group chat.
  • Fixed areas that were not updating correctly after changing the application language.

Coming Up

With the new Contacts tab you can manage your most important contacts and contact groups in one place. Create groups and organize contacts easily using drag and drop. Recent contacts and quick search help you find and add contacts faster. All changes stay synchronized with your contacts and favorites across other ProCall clients.

As ProCall Web is under continuous development, unannounced changes are possible.
Ongoing softphone calls or audio/video chats may be interrupted if you update the app during a call.
Even when closing or reloading the browser tab in which ProCall Web is displayedongoing calls are terminated.


Please note that the appearance and the options for use/setup may vary depending on the browser variant used.
