Welcome to ProCall NEX - Update 2510.0

With the latest update for ProCall NEX, you now have more flexibility and convenience in daily communication. The new presence status "Appear as offline" gives full control over your visibility, while ProCall Web (Preview) scores with a new continuous delivery process and numerous other optimisations. 

New features

New presence status "Appear as offline"

ProCall now offers the option of setting your presence status so that it is not recognisable to others.
Others will then not be able to see whether you are logged in, busy or on a call.


ProCall offers the presence status "Appear as offline" function for this purpose.
This status ensures that although a user can be logged in and active, the presence status is permanently displayed to other users as "Offline" until you change/reset the status again.

New functions and improvements for ProCall Web (Preview)

  • New continuous delivery process:
    No more waiting until the end of the month for new features and bug fixes.

    Instead, you receive continuous, small updates - directly after completion:

    • Errors are often rectified within a few hours.
    • We receive feedback on new features much more quickly.
    • Each update remains compact and therefore less risky.

    This increases the security and stability of ProCall Web.

  • Further improvements: 
    As usual, all other improvements can be found in the ProCall Web (Preview) release notes.

Support of the DATEV ASP environment

  • If a proxy is entered on the Microsoft Windows workstation, this is automatically used by the ProCall NEX administrator for the connection to UCConnect. This is necessary to support the DATEV ASP environment.

Bug fixes/improvements

General

  • In the UCConnect portal, the licences for ProCall 8, Voice Services and ProCall NEX now show how many users have been activated in UCServer and are therefore using a licence.

ProCall Desktop for Windows

  • If a proxy is entered at the Microsoft Windows workstation, this is automatically used by ProCall Desktop for Windows for the connection to UCConnect.
  • The behaviour for the option "Presence status Call protection controls DND" and "Call protection controls presence status DND" has been revised and improved in connection with Microsoft Teams. 

ProCall Web (Preview)

ProCall Mobile

  • Call groups/collective groups can now be used in ProCall Mobile for Android.
