The software is available as a preview version. There are still limitations in terms of functionality and quality. We are continuously working on further development.
What is new?
Improvements
- In Calls Tab, the microphone and speaker for the next call can be selected directly, without switching to the general device settings.
- An explanatory information box has been added to the top of the device settings page: "As long as no device has been chosen manually in ProCall Web, the app will choose the standard device from the settings of the Operating System."
- Screen reader output for phone numbers has been improved. The accessibility statement has been updated accordingly: the previous note that phone numbers are not accessible to screen readers no longer applies, because they are now announced correctly as phone numbers.
- Under Settings → System → Error analysis, the new "Clear log" action (with a confirmation dialog) is available. The client log can be cleared before reproducing an issue again, so that exported log files contain only the relevant entries.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the microphone and speaker selection changed on its own; the device selected by the user now remains in place.
- When camera permission is disabled in the browser, the microphone and speaker can be selected again in the device settings.
- When forwarding a call, search results from the MetaDirectory are shown again.
- If another call comes in during an external call and a conference is then started, the conference no longer drops unexpectedly.
- If no SIP/TAPI line is assigned to a user, the corresponding telephony icons are hidden in the interface.
- Fixed an issue where the device menu in the call window overlapped the dial pad and the call controls.
- Moving contacts between contact groups via drag and drop or the context menu works consistently again.
- Fixed an issue where the contact from which the contact widget was opened moved out of the visible area of the contact list.
- If sending files is disabled, a file attachment in a group chat can no longer be forwarded.
- Fixed an issue where sent chat images could not be opened and a file-retrieval error was shown instead.
- The confirmation message when leaving or deleting a group chat shows the group name and the quotation marks correctly.
- Fixed an issue where, after a chat history was deleted, new messages from the same contact no longer appeared in the chat list until the app was reloaded.
- If the "Start chat" permission is disabled, users can no longer create new chats; incoming messages and replies in existing conversations remain possible.
Coming up
- Setting up call forwarding for colleagues: Users with the permission level “Personal” can set up or remove a call forwarding for a colleague. The destination can be their own line, a ProCall contact, or a phone number they enter. Only the lines an administrator has allowed can be forwarded. Presence must be enabled. The action is available in the context menu for contacts, calls, and chats. The person who sets the forwarding receives a confirmation. The affected person sees a notice showing that a call forwarding has been set up for their line and where their calls are being forwarded.
