Preview!
The software is available as a preview version . There are still limitations in terms of functionality and quality. We are continuously working on further development.
New functions
- Customisable chat areas: Users now have the option of adjusting the width of the individual chat areas according to their individual needs. These customisations are saved automatically so that the selected configuration is retained each time the chat function is called up.
- Improved accessibility and enhanced options in Settings/Calls: The Settings/Calls page has been made accessible to ensure better accessibility for all users. New settings options have been added, including setting time limits for automatically closing ended call windows. Use these options to make your call management more efficient.
Improvements
- The display of the presence of all members in a group chat has been improved. The presence of members is now visible even if the chat list is outside the visible area. This facilitates the overview and communication within the group.
- The icon to switch to full screen mode is now clearly visible and makes it easier to access the full screen view of the application, ensuring a better user experience.
- Our new, updated product icons have been added to the application. These provide a modern and consistent design that contributes to the improved aesthetics and navigation within the app.
Bug fixes
- Chat initialisation and chat display: Several bugs have been fixed that caused problems when initialising and displaying chats.
- Group chat names: New users will now see the correct name of group chats they join.
- Group pictures: When creating new group chats, the group picture can now be selected and displayed smoothly.
- Context menu: The context menu in the conversation list of a group chat can be called up correctly again.
- Presence display: The presence display remains correct after a reload of the application.
- Group member list: The list of group members in a group chat can be fully scrolled.
- Reply to chat messages: Users can now reply to chat messages with images and text again.
- Emoji selection: The selection of additional emojis now works correctly again.
- Avatar display: The avatar of a new chat partner is now displayed correctly.
- Scroll behaviour: Incorrect scrolling behaviour in chat has been fixed.
- Ended ringing for unreachable calls: Ringing is properly terminated when a person is unavailable and the call is ended.
- Virtual backgrounds: Virtual backgrounds are now saved correctly and are available for further use.
As the ProCall App for Web is under continuous development, unannounced changes are possible.
Ongoing softphone calls or audio/video chats may be interrupted if you update the app during a call.
Even when closing or reloading the browser tab in which the ProCall app for Web is displayed, ongoing calls are terminated.
Please note that the appearance and the options for use/setup may vary depending on the browser variant used.
