Preview! 

The software is available as a preview version . There are still limitations in terms of functionality and quality. We are continuously working on further development.

New functions

  • Real-Time Text (RTT)
    • The Real-Time Text (RTT) function enables text to be sent and received in real time during a softphone or TAPI call as well as video and audio chats between two call participants who are both using the ProCall App for Web.
    • The text is transmitted character by character, resulting in barrier-free communication. Speakers and writers are treated equally, so that speech and text are seamlessly combined.
    • The function facilitates communication for all users who cannot or do not wish to speak, such as deaf and hearing-impaired people.

 

  • Emergency calls
    • The configured emergency call signalling for multiple locations in the UCServer administration is also supported by the ProCall App for Web for ProCall Enterprise from 8.7 and for ProCall NEX.
    • If the IP address is not assigned to a location, a corresponding message is displayed to the user.
  • Feature-Codes
    • Functions such as setting call diversions or logging in and out of hunt groups can be carried out conveniently via the search/dialling field by entering feature codes supported by the telephone system.

Improvements

  • Accessibility:
    • The viewfinder genres are now also correctly recognised by a screen reader.
    • The keyboard shortcuts can now be configured barrier-free.
    • The screen reader now reliably informs the user about new chat messages.
    • The entire application now supports user-defined browser settings such as changing foreground and background colours, fonts and font sizes.
  • In the settings for notifications, you can now set the time for which important information about the operation of the application is displayed.

Bug fixes

  • The ringtone for outgoing SIP calls is now played correctly again.

As the ProCall App for Web is under continuous development, unannounced changes are possible.
Ongoing softphone calls or audio/video chats may be interrupted if you update the app during a call.
Even when closing or reloading the browser tab in which the ProCall app for Web is displayed, ongoing calls are terminated.
