The software is available as a preview version . There are still limitations in terms of functionality and quality. We are continuously working on further development.
New features
- New contact widget available in the chat area
With the new contact widget, users can now view all saved information about a person from ProCall in the chat area. The widget enables quick access to availabilities as well as uncomplicated communication and collaboration via various channels - always with a click on the presence. The contact widget will soon be rolled out to all other areas of ProCall Web, offering consistently flexible and seamless contact access.
Improvements
More different file types can now be sent in the chat.
- Permission to use ProCall Web no longer needs to be actively granted in the UCServer.
Bug fixes
- For an incoming call from a number that is assigned to a line group, the name of the line group is now displayed correctly in the call window.
- Fixed a bug where screen sharing could not be terminated correctly if one of the users was using ProCall Core.
- The "Delete entries" button is no longer displayed in the Journal MultiSelect menu if the user does not have rights to delete journal entries.
- Fixed a bug where sent chat messages were not synchronised correctly when using different clients and some messages were missing.
- Fixed a bug where not all possible call types were displayed in the context menu of the call list.
- Fixed a bug where the presence in the contact widget was not displayed correctly.
- Fixed a bug where users were in an undefined login status after logging in.
- Fixed a bug where the "Select presence" context menu could only be closed when an action was performed.
- Fixed a bug where SIP calls could no longer be accepted in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
- Fixed a bug where the "In Meeting" presence was not reset if the participant's connection to the conference was lost.
- Fixed a bug where the group chat picture could not be changed or deleted correctly.
- Fixed a bug where switching devices during call initiation did not work correctly.
- Fixed a bug where files could no longer be sent in the chat.
Coming up
The new main view "Contacts" - Efficient contact management made easy!
You can soon look forward to a completely new, modern and user-friendly "Contacts" view in ProCall Web. The new main area allows you to keep track of your most important contacts, create new contact groups and manage them as you wish using drag & drop. All functions are available to you to add, remove and flexibly reorganise contacts. Of course, everything remains synchronised with your favourites and contacts from your other clients.
The view also shows you your most recently used contacts and allows you to quickly search for new contacts, which you can add directly to your groups.
Look forward to a well thought-out, efficient contact management system that will make your day-to-day work noticeably easier!
New presence status "Show as offline"
All users will soon be able to set their status so that they appear "offline" to others - while in reality they remain fully connected. This means that users will see themselves and be shown as offline by others, but will still be able to make and receive calls and send and receive chat messages.
This function provides a discreet presence display without restricting system operation or accessibility. Calls or status updates during a call will still be visible, but the main presence will remain as "offline". The new option will be automatically available to all users and will be fully compatible with existing systems.
As the ProCall App for Web is under continuous development, unannounced changes are possible.
Ongoing softphone calls or audio/video chats may be interrupted if you update the app during a call.
Even when closing or reloading the browser tab in which the ProCall app for Web is displayed, ongoing calls are terminated.
Please note that the appearance and the options for use/setup may vary depending on the browser variant used.
