Microsoft Access is no longer used as a server database in newer versions of ProCall.

If the journals are no longer updated in ProCall, error messages are logged for these events of the UCServer with reference to the database.

Continue using journal entries

Please note the following information in connection with Microsoft Access databases:

If you want to continue using the existing journal entries, please proceed as follows:

  • Stop the estos UCServer service
  • Create a backup copy of the database <installation folder>\ESTOS\UCServer\database\CtiServerDatabasejournal.mdb
  • Create a local copy of the database <installation folder>\ESTOS\UCServer\database\CtiServerDatabasejournal.mdb
  • Start MS Access and open the local database copy
  • Start the function 'Compress and Repair' in MS Access
  • Save the repaired database and replace the broken database in the UCServer installation folder
  • Start the UCServer service and test if the journal database can be used again.
