New Features of the Cloud Telephone System with WebAdmin

The management and configuration options of the cloud telephone system have been expanded. A browser-based configuration is now available.

Key new features include:

  1. Users & Groups:

    • Definition of keys on end devices, such as call forwarding, logging in and out of a group, automatic callback, as well as call forwarding for a group.
    • Extended configuration options for the integrated waiting queue.
  2. Phones & Lines:

    • Checking firmware versions.
    • Setting passwords.
    • Configuring SIP trunks.
    • Defining internal number ranges.
  3. Routing & Server:

    • Routing options for outbound calls through various SIP trunks or alternatives to the STARFACE Connect SIP trunk.
    • Capability to send log files.

Additionally, various analysis and export options for call types are available, including visual representation of the data.

Bug fixes/improvements

  • The EntraID Integration has been revised:
    • Error messages have been added for issues during setup.
    • Synchronization of users, groups, and computers now occurs faster following changes in EntraID.
    • Overall stability of the integration has been improved.
    • Minor bugs have been fixed.
  • ProCall NEX Server Administration Updates:
    • The management interface now supports specifying an alias for connecting to the ProCall NEX instance.
  • LDAP Integration Revision:
    • The LDAP connection in the UCServer, typically used for integration with a MetaDirectory, has been comprehensively improved. This results in a more stable connection and increased resilience, especially in cloud environments.
  • Additional Improvements:
    • The error message for failed activation of NEX users has been refined.
    • Enhancements have been made to the saving of group properties.
    • An issue affecting NEX during telephone system updates has been resolved. After the update, some modules on the telephone system had outdated versions.
    • In the UCConnect portal, server accounts for ProCall NEX instances are now highlighted with a dedicated symbol.

ProCall Client for Windows 

  • The privacy policy for "ProCall Windows and Mac" has been updated, particularly regarding the use of the open-source software "Sentry" for automatic program flow tracking, error logging, and anonymous crash reports, which are exclusively stored and processed in German data centers.
