Installation and configuration options
There are various options for defining the ProCall Enterprise server to be addressed in the ProCall Enterprise client configuration:
- Server address or DNS service location record is configured via MSI installation package parameters during setup on the client.
- A user with administrative rights configures the server address or the DNS service location record via ProCall Enterprise workstation settings for all users on this Microsoft Windows client host.
- A user without administrative rights configures the server address or the DNS service location record via ProCall Enterprise workstation settings for themselves on the Microsoft Windows client host.
- When ProCall Enterprise client is running via ProCall Enterprise menu item Login account... in the tray icon.
With regard to the installation option of specifying the details of the server to be addressed as an MSI parameter, no further explanations are provided in this article; all necessary measures for configuring the server connection are carried out automatically in the background during the administrative execution of the installation.
For the other three variants, please refer to the following sections.
