Observation
The estos ProCall mobile app for iOS in version 8.1.02 has been optimized in the area of server communication in order to make the exchange of information with the estos ProCall Enterprise server more performant.
This significant change also required updates or expansions of the communication interface within the ProCall Enterprise server. Therefore, if the ProCall 7 Enterprise server is operated at a lower version than 7.7.x, connection issues occur in the ProCall mobile app for iOS when directly connecting to the on-premises ProCall Enterprise Web Services. After logging in to the ProCall mobile app for iOS on the ProCall Enterprise server, persistent connection errors occur, and the connection establishment task is cyclically displayed.
Solution
Update to ProCall 7 Enterprise at least 7.7.0
To run the ProCall mobile app for iOS on ProCall 7 Enterprise server, upgrade the ProCall Enterprise system to at least version 7.7.0. Upgrading to the latest published version of ProCall 7 Enterprise is recommended.
You can find the installation packages in the estos support download area and select the Archive section to get the installation packages for version 7 for selection.
