Observation
If a name is transmitted with the address in the SIP header, it is not taken into account in the call window of ProCall Desktop for Windows.
Possible SIP headers with name specification are:
- From
- Diversion
- P-Asserted-Identity
Functionality
Currently, ProCall Desktop for Windows only considers the set (contact) data sources to determine the name based on the phone number.
Name details in the SIP header are not taken into account in the current product design, and no changes to the product design in this regard are currently planned.
Supplement
The transmission of caller names via TAPI / CSTA (to a telephone number for name resolution) is not supported.
