Display of the contact with initials - Contact abbreviation

If there is no profile picture for contacts in the ProCall monitor or in the favorites, a contact abbreviation is displayed instead:

How is the contact abbreviation formed?

  • Normally, the first character from the first name and surname fields is combined if they are available.

  • If the first name and surname do not exist, the first character of the display name is used if there is a display name.

  • If the display name is not set, the first character of the surname is used if it is set.

  • Otherwise, the first character of the first name is used.

  • Line contacts have no abbreviations.
