Login failed error message

In the connection settings of the ECSTA driver the following error message appears when clicking on "Check connection": "The connection to Avaya IP Office has been established. Login to Avaya IP Office failed."

Possible cause

In some cases this is a problem in the configuration of the Avaya IPO.

Procedure

Check configuration settings

Check that the Configuration requirements are met.

Synchronize WebLM nodes and client IDs

It could be that the WebLM (Web License Manager) nodes and client IDs are different.

These can be found in the IPO Manager under Licenses/Remote Server.

Check licenses for CTI Link Pro

Additionally, it must be checked whether an existing CTI Link Pro license is available for the connection.

Here the display in the IPO Manager can show sufficient licenses, although they are actually not available because they are used by other applications.

Further notes

With the IPO Server Edition all existing CTI Link Pro licenses must be assigned. With the IPO Gateways, however, no license may be assigned.
