Recording a meeting

The following instructions are Tips and Tricks. 
Since the described functions are not products or services provided by estos, there is no claim to the availability and correct description of the functionality. 

For the recording of a meeting or a video conference, data protection regulations are particularly relevant!
In any case, observe the interests of the persons concerned that are worthy of protection. 
No recording may be made without the consent of the participants.

Screen recording from Microsoft Windows 10

Since Microsoft Windows 10, screen recording has been an integral part of the operating system. Microsoft Windows 10, therefore, offers the option of making a screen recording even without additional installation of video recording software. This function can be used to record a meeting via ProCall Meetings and, for example, to make it available as a screencast or to archive it.

By pressing the key combination [Windows]+[G] you can open the game bar Xbox Gamebar and from here you can start and stop the screen capture under Windows with the key combination [Windows] + [Alt] + [R].

Windows may ask if you want to open the game bar. Specify Yes here, even if it is not a "game".

If an error message appears, please check if the system requirements for the screen recording function are met.

File location for recording

The recording is stored in the set file location. As a rule, the recording can be found via the file explorer under "This PC" – Videos – Recordings.

Screen capture on smartphone/tablet (Android) 

You can usually find the Screen Capture function in the Quick Settings: Swipe down twice from the top of the screen. Tap on "Screen recording".
Select what you want to record and tap Start. Recording starts after the countdown.
If you want to stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the "Screen recording" notification.

Not all Android versions offer the option of screen recording. Check the requirements if necessary. 

File location for recording

The recording is saved to the file location set. Usually, the recording can be found in the Photo Gallery under Videos.

From iOS 11 and iPadOS, you can create a screen recording and record sound on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

The recording is stored in the set file location. As a rule, the recording can be found in the photo app.
