Assign phone lines to computers and thin clients in Microsoft Windows terminal server environment

This article explains how you can use computers or thin clients with ProCall in the Terminal Server environment to assign phone lines to the computer or thin clients, even if they are not listed in the ActiveDirectory.

This can also be useful, for example, if you want to set up a temporary workstation. 

Variablen

Thin Clients

Windows variable %CLIENTNAME% of the thin client in the terminal server environment.

Computer

Variable %COMPUTERNAME% 

You must create a computer account with this name in the UCServer (without % characters) analogous to the variable %CLIENTNAME% of the Thin Client or %COMPUTERNAME% of the computer.
Now you can also assign the line(s) to this computer in the user administration in the UCServer, e.g. for alternating workstations.

If the UCServer is bound to ActiveDirectory, the computer account must be created in ActiveDirectory.
