The following instructions are intended to assist you in transferring a Microsoft Access database to SQL and require expert knowledge of database support.

  • In UCServer Administration, switch the server database to Microsoft SQL Server and create a completely new database here without entries.
  • Stop the UCServer service and backup all *.mdb files from the directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\ESTOS\UCServer\database".
  • On SQL Server, please perform the following steps for each table:

In the next step, connect to the SQL Server and the empty database according to your settings.

  • Now Start the UCServer service again.
  • Now Check in a journal or the journal browser whether the data has been successfully transferred and start a test call whether new entries are also written.
  • If there are problems with the Microsoft Access Database Engine, please select the Microsoft Jet Database Engine.
